HELP Campus Affiliates 2001 - 2003

HELP enlisted over 80 colleges and universities to be a part of a national network of institutions that served as a reference group for the program's work. The HELP Campus Affiliates shared information about student life and the campus environment as part of the development of a campus ecological approach to promoting health and wellness.

In return, the Affiliates had the opportunity to become national demonstration sites and to have access to new knowledge and practices developed through HELP program activities. HELP Affiliates were connected electronically through a bulletin board system to participate in a dialogue with each other about campus HIV prevention strategies, and received needed updates as the field of HIV prevention continued to rapidly shift.
