Health Education Leadership and Planning
Welcome!
The health and health behaviors of students strongly influence academic performance, student success, retention, and progress toward completion of a degree. Health is not simply the absence of disease, and is not limited to physical or medical parameters; in the National College Health Assessment, significant percentages of undergraduate students report that factors such as stress, sleep difficulties, relationship problems, mental health concerns, and the use of computers (to access the Internet or play games) affect their academic performance.
